Creating a Brand with Meaning

The Blue Butterfly Designs was named in memory of Alyssa’s late grandmother, Marlene. Yes! Her favourite colour was blue of course!

Believe it or not, The Blue Butterfly Designs started out with just selling handmade greeting cards to family and friends. Today it has manifested into a small online gift store that offers a wide range of products with a purpose of making people smile and empowering everyone to follow their dreams.

About Alyssa

Alyssa is a registered Early Childhood Educator who works part-time at a daycare centre. When she’s not working with children, she’s fulfilling her other passion of crafting and graphic & web design.

She started this small venture in 2014 and has worked hard to continue to grow her side hustle more and more every year.

With dedication and a little hard work, she looks forward to what the future will bring for The Blue Butterfly Designs!

Marie is enjoying MUCH deserved retired life while fulfilling her passion of crafting.

She joined The Blue Butterfly Designs in 2018 just before retirement. 

Her superpower is creating beautiful, vibrant, and unique wreaths that are truly one of a kind! But that’s not all! From crochet, to jewellery, to signage, to wreaths, Marie’s skills are endless and she’s always up for a challenge!
